The Journey of the Adumbral Empire
Meanwhile, The Adumbral Empire wasted no time in setting up a new government. Led by a council of Kings from their prior Kingdoms, The Adumbral Empire began to flourish. Cerenia was left to it's new graces, Shadow was given the title of Lord, and given the task of searching out Soulrender and protecting the Adumbral and more importantly the Adumbral Empire. Since the seals were closed, many races and species thought extinct were found to be all to real. While some viewed Shadow as the central leader of the Adumbral Empire, politically he was not, however outside of Cerenia that did not matter. He selected his most trusted companions, to follow him into the Adumbral, where they would encounter world after world, setting up protectorates and concealing the Adumbral Gateway from the locals, meanwhile searching out for whatever became of Soulrender and Calin.The first world to land on, was a small one, The world consisted of two islands, and the locals followed a multitude of Gods. The Adumbral Gate was located on the pyre of the God they called Riija, Cloaked by Illusion. Shadow gathered a multitude of additional enlightened individuals, and after hiding the gateway, disappeared to the next world. The World of Asheron was minor, and Asheron had already been tampering with Adumbral Magic, The Empire confronted Asheron, let him know what he was dealing with and slowly sealed the primary gateway which was on Asheron's own island. The Empire then found the world of Norrath, realizing the world was a lost cause they quickly sealed the Gateway, hoping to keep the feelings of Malice and Greed confined within. Finally they arrived on a world where the Gateways had already been discovered. A land plagued with War, called Aerlynth. They set up the city of Adumbral Gate, and convinced the locals the Gateways they used so commonly could only be used to move within their world, and then covered up the primary gateway of Kauro, disappearing again, spiraling through the Adumbral from world to world, seeking out Soulrender, and slowly purifying the Adumbral from outsider interference.
